There are several ways to administrate Tivoli Workload Scheduler: Using the Job Scheduling Console, the “Legacy” GUI, and/or the command line interfaces "Composer" and "Conman".

While each of these standard interfaces has its strengths, none combine power and flexibility with easy-to-use navigation.

In addition, a number of functions are only available from the command line. Report generation, in particular, is limited to simple reports generated from the command line. Complex scripting is required in order to create anything beyond the basic “canned” reports.

TWS/WebAdmin bridges the gaps between these "standard" methods by providing a web browser based interface to Tivoli Workload Scheduler. The web browser provides an almost universally familiar interface and a self explanatory navigation system.
